Karoline’s Day
On saturday we celebrated my sister Karoline’s confirmation with a family party. All the girls dressed up in “bunader”, Norway’s national costume, and there was lots of yummy food, music and games.
It was a great day and a great party!

Var en kjempe koslig helg :)
Prutha: Thanks! =) I am happy I inspired you.
Ingird: Ja! =D
I love the Bunad’s you and your sister are wearing in the photos.
Would you kindly share where you can buy them or someone who makes them.
Thank you.
Jennifer: Thank you! Our Bunads were gifts from our grandparents on our confirmation days, so I am not sure of the name of the seamstress who created them. But the materials were bought in a Husfliden store in Arendal (as they are in the bunad style of that region). Husfliden’s homepage and more about bunads: http://www.norskflid.no/
