The Carrie Diaries & Four Blondes by Candace Bushnell, Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella, Vogue Collections Fall Winter 2011

Friday 12 o’clock I officially completed my first year of university, and I am now in the beginning of my 4 month summer holiday! It feels great! Over the weekend I’ve been out to celebrate, done a little shopping, and relaxed a lot. I’m still quite tired from the exam stress, so I’m looking forward to more relaxation with the chick lit books I bought at Waterstones today. Perhaps I’ll start by reading The Carrie Diaries as all the advertisements and press around the new Sex and the City movie have got me wanting more Carrie Bradshaw. The Carrie Diaries is about Carrie in her younger years, before New York. I’m also looking forward to seeing Sex and the City 2, although it hasn’t gotten particularly good reviews. I’m just excited to see my favourite fictional girl group and the spectacular costumes.

Have you seen Sex and the City 2? What do you think?

What books would you recommend for some summer reading?

This is my last week in London before I travel to Norway on friday. I’m excited both to see my family and friends in Norway, and for my last days in London before the summer. Plans for the week include packing down all my stuff and finding a flat for next year. I’m also planning on doing some shopping, a bit of partying, getting a haircut, and experiencing more of London (by visiting a couple of museums, just strolling around++).

Have a great week and stay tuned because I’m back blogging frequently and loving it!
