Snowy London

So tonight my brothers, my dad and I were supposed to fly home to Norway (they are visiting this weekend), but due to chaotic times with snow and transport problems our flight was cancelled. Hopefully we will be able to get home tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

Apart from some snow chaos this weekend has been great! We’ve seen We Will Rock You and Narnia, eaten Thai food, and yummy pizzas at Fire and Stone, and done some Christmas shopping. Yesterday I went to a lovely dinner party at my friends’ house where I ate my first ever English Christmas dinner. It was amazing, really amazing! There was everything from meat, chicken, sausages, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, Yorkshire puddings, to delicious things I don’t know what were. Mmm yumm! For dessert we had chocolate cupcakes which I made. I used the Hummingbird bakery recipe, which I would really recommend (super sweet and delicious), but they kind of got misshaped, and the green frosting made them look more like dinosaur children’s party cupcakes, than Christmas trees… hehe Better luck next time!
