My own customized Bing Bang necklace!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting talented jewelry designer Anna Sheffield and take a look at her line Bing Bang and her collection for WeSC in her studio. The WeSC + Bing Bang collection is unisex and consists of necklaces, bracelets, Anna’s signature “B” knuckle ring and awesome headphones! The collection has a cool street aesthetic and is inspired by New York. Anna has lived in New York for the past 10 years and finds a lot of inspiration in the energy and people in the city. For the WeSC collection she particularly looked at New York architecture and captured street cool.

Anna hails from New Mexico and has worked in a tattoo shop and with sculpture prior to the start of Bing Bang. Bing Bang came about gradually as Anna made jewelry on the side of working with art and sculpture. She would make pieces of jewelry as gifts to her family and friends. In New York Bing Bang evolved and became what it is today. Throughout Bing Bang’s history Anna has done some amazing collaborations with such as Phillip Lim, Marc Jacobs, Urban Outfitters and now WeSC! :)

Bing Bang’s aesthetic combines the edgy with the sweet. The line is characterized by mixed metals, nostalgic motifs, cute pendants, chains and the letter “B”. There is a story behind every piece. I was lucky enough to be gifted with a gorgeous customized Bing Bang necklace. I picked out a deep blue heart, a textured star and the letter “J” for Julie, which Anna put together for me. Thank you so much Anna! Such a awesome necklace! :)
