Cos Coat
A simple black coat is a great closet basic and something I’ve really missed not having in my closet. So yesterday I decided to take action and ran around shops looking for a nice black coat. I didn’t have an exact coat in mind but I had some criteria; it had to be classic, timeless, simple, good quality and great for layering (fit a jumper/thin jacket underneath) and wearing with all sorts of outfits. So I started my coat hunt at Zara where I didn’t have much luck, stopped by Selfridges where I found a really nice but pricey coat, wandered on… And ended up at Cos where I found what I was looking for in the form of this gorgeous A-line wool coat. :) The A-line shape is very flattering and as my flat-mate pointed out a bit Audrey Hepburn-like. I’m very happy with my new wardrobe basic! :)

Nice find Julie, I had the same dilemma a couple weeks ago… I ended up with a cheap H&M one that does the trick for now but I’m on the hunt for another one with better quality…
